There is no specific rules in loving a person. The only thing you need to remember is "free yourself".
Try to look at a girl/boy whom you rarely would put your eyes on.
Try to see a girl/boy in a positive way. How nice the smile she has. How nice the dressing style he has. How funny the story he said. How sweet she treats her guests.
Every one treats himself/herself nicely thus don't treat seriously on others.
